Vans Vault is getting pumped up for summer with a Hawaiian-themed pack of ‘Aloha’ sneakers. Vans has taken its Sk8-Hi and Era LX shoes and applied a floral print to a brightly-patterned sneaker and accented it with suede and premium leather details. If you’re not familiar with Vans Vault, it’s a concept introduced in 2003, consisting of higher-end Vans that are sold in select stores around the world. Past seasonal collections have included collaborations with Rebecca Taylor, Luella Bartley and Marc Jacobs.

The Vans Aloha pack will consist of two models, the Era and the Sk8-Hi in a combo of colorways. So, whether you want a cool low top for the beach or a tropical hi top for the streets, there’s a colour combo ahd style that will look great on your feet. Watch for the Vans Aloha collection to be on the shelves of select stores and online sometime in May 2011.

Looking for a bold, colourful summer shoe that goes perfectly with any casual outfit? Vans and Supreme have announced their collaboration for summer 2011: the Vans Mike Carroll. Vans is well known for working with numerous pro skaters, creating shoes that are both functional and stylish, whether worn by skateboarders or not.

Mike Carroll is a pro skateboarder from San Francisco who first skated for H-Street and Plan B Skateboards. The Vans Mike Carroll by Supreme is a revised version of the original from 1994. The shoe features suede and mesh, with the Supreme logo in cursive on the tongue and heel logo tag. Colourway combinations range from bright yellow and blue, to royal blue with orange. Accents include leather and corduroy on the tongue, tongue label and side panels, sockliner. The Vans Mike Carroll of course comes with the classic white vulcanized sole with red branding and black foxing.

It’s almost that time again…Vans Warped Tour will again be gracing numerous Canadian cities this summer. The 2011 Vans Warped Tour starts on June 24th in Dallas, Texas, and will be the 17th annual Summer Warped Tour festival, a North American tour that brings punk and skate culture into the mainstream. Warped Tour is the longest-running touring festival in the US, featuring both up-and-coming indie talent and major established artists. So far, there are 94 great bands scheduled to appear, including Blood on the Dance Floor, illScarlett, Simple Plan, Less Than Jake, and D.R.U.G.S. Check out all the bands here.

The Vans Warped Tour 2011 kickoff party is tomorrow (March 25) at The House of Vans in Brooklyn, New York, featuring performances by The Wonder Years, MC Lars, Moving Mountains and Lionize. This is the first time in the tour’s now 17-year history that the press conference and kickoff party has ever launched from New York. Main stage announcements will be happening at midnight. In addition, a limited number of Warped tickets for the Oceanport and Uniondale shows will be available for sale at a very low price.

Just in time for the summer season, Vans has released a funky line of Hello Kitty footwear. Vans has teamed up with Sarnio to create a unique sneaker collection of fun, fashionable shoes. The Hello Kitty Vans line will be available in stores this June 2011, and at select Sanrio boutiques.

Fans of both Vans and Hello Kitty have been hearing about this cool collaboration for some time, but nobody knew if it would actually happen or not. Here’s what the Hello Kitty team has to say about the collaboration:

“Sanrio and Vans have teamed up to launch a footwear collaboration for Hello Kitty fans, Vans fans, and sneakerpimps of all ages! Arriving in June, the Vans x Hello Kitty collection will feature an awesome variety of styles and designs, including the Classic slip-on in checkerboard print, low-top laced Authentic in all-over prints and high-top Sk8-Hi D-Lo, in a cute custom print. RAD!”

Hello Kitty Vans will come in three styles: the Classic Vans slip-on, the unisex Sk8 Hi D-Lo high top sneaker and a lace-up low top sneaker, and will be available in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes.

Just in time for spring, Vans comes out with a comfy new shoe that is more stylish than sneaker. While spring shoes may make you think of brightly-hued sneakers perfect for the pavement, boat or the beach, the Vans California Zapato Slip-On is available in two quite subdued colours: blue and grey.

Made of waterproof materials, the grey or blue denim upper is durable and features a pinstripe design, a white rubber outsole, and two holes for the brown leather laces, which go well with the softer colours of the upper sole. There’s also an elasticized tongue strap, in case you want to go without laces – your shoes will stay firmly on your feet!

If the Vans California Zapato Slip-On boat shoe looks familiar, it’s because it’s the latest in a long line of Vans Zapato del Barco designs. Look for the Vans California Zapato Slip-On to hit the stores in the next few weeks!

As the warmer months approach, it’s hard not to look forward to all the things that we love about spring and summer. The warm weather means different things to everybody, however we can all agree that there’s nothing quite like a day at the beach. Whether you’re a surfer looking forward to catching some waves this year, or you simply want to have a laid back beach-goer look while you’re out soaking up the sun, there’s likely something for you in Vans’ collection of surf shoes.

The Bali is among the many stylish and practical options to be found among Vans‘ surf shoes. The Bali is a casual looking slip-on, combining the look of a deck shoe with the comfort of a loafer. The shoe is available in six colours, all of which are versatile enough to match any swimsuit or shorts you pair them with. Next up in Vans’ collection of surf shoes is the Distressed E-Street. The shoe is reminiscent of a Vans skate shoe, however it still hangs on to the casual, broken in look that makes it a surf shoe. The Distressed E-Street is available in grey canvas.

As temperatures drop, and snow and rain continue to fall from the sky, it becomes difficult not to look forward to the springtime. Although winter is beautiful in it’s own way, it has it’s downsides for skaters and shoe enthusiasts alike. Luckily for us, spring draws nearer by the day, and before we know it we’ll be soaking up the sun, and of course updating our wardrobes for the warm weather. Although we’re not quite out of the cold yet, here’s a look at some of the new styles that will be available from Vans shoes in the spring of 2011.

Among the new shoes being released this spring is the Vans OTW Bedford shoe. The mid height shoes will be available in a variety of colours (including brown/grey, blue, and charcoal), all of which are likely subtle enough to match your day to day wardrobe.

The Vans OTW Pritchard shoe will also be released sometime this spring. The Vans Pritchard shoe has a simple look that makes it refined enough for more formal outfits, without losing what makes it a skate shoe. The shoe will be available in a few different colours, including tan, black on black, black on gum and indigo blue on gum.

We told you about the fall Crayola Vans shoes collection for kids already, but Vans has expanded their line to include adults sizes just in time for the holidays!

When you look back at your childhood, what stands out? If you were like most kids, then your life likely consisted of toys games, and generally finding happiness in the simple things. Shoes such as the Authentic, the Era and the Checkerboard slip-on can all be found in this section. The Yo Gabba Gabba slip-ons (for toddlers) are also featured. The “Gifts under $75” category is the highest available price range. It features a number of shoes and hoodies, women’s boots, and even the Vans El Dorado watch.
