This spring, the dynamic duo is teaming up again to release the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star x John Varvatos Specialty 2011 Collection. Think casual Converse style with an edge; these will definitely complete any rock star look you’re going for. John Varvatos consistently turns out award-winning rock ‘n roll designs each season, creating menswear that’s both classy and rebellious at the same time.

There are three styles to choose from in the Converse Chuck Taylor x John Varvatos 2011 Collection:

Painted Flag Chuck Taylor All Star Hi: with monotone colours, this signature painted canvas shoe is embellished with a series of pyramid studs around the ankle.

Leather Woven Chuck Taylor All Star Hi: The entire upper of this black leather hi top looks like it’s been intricately woven, creating a bold look that’s just as easily paired with faded jeans or leather pants.

Low Cut 2011 John Varvatos: If you’re not so sure about woven leather or studs, opt for this low cut style, crafted out of soft, supple leather with a white rubber outsole.

Converse has teamed up with John Varvatos Chuck Taylor to create over-painted and distressed Converse sneakers with just the right amount of punk feel.

John Varvatos is know for his rebellious, rock ‘n roll designs, so it’s no surprise that he began collaborating with Converse sneakers year ago to create unique styles for men. This season, Varvatos brings his rugged designs into his collaboration with Converse to expand on new premium Star Chevron styles, including the Pro Leather 76 and the Star Player. The Converse styles are available in colours like white, grey, black and wine.

The Chuck Taylor All Star John Varvatos take the motorcycle edge further, with distressed printed upper and burnished toes, with tumbled leather which is then finished in a burnished wax.

So, whether you’re pounding the pavement or climbing sand dunes, the John Varvatos Chuck Taylor’s are suited to your lifestyle.
